Our House

I REALLY need to stop saying that I am going to post more because the reality is that I probably won't.  But that doesn't mean I don't have blog posts still scrolling through my head.  It also doesn't mean that I have stopped thinking of my blogging friends.  If you are out there-I am thinking of you! : )

  • (Mama Rachel I couldn't leave you a comment. I am thinking of you too).
  • Good news.  They started on our house.  Yeah.  There is a very large hole and they are pouring the foundation next week.  Please read extreme excitement into my voice.
  • The hypocrite in me:
    • my house is going to be LARGE
      • If I had to live in my 760 sq foot house forever I could, but my kids and my husband have decided not to (okay maybe I want a bigger house too).
    • I rarely wear skirts any more
      • I still think I should, I just don't
    • So please forgive me for being a hyprocrite.  We can all change our opinions right?
  • I went to Hawaii with my hubby, it was lovely
  • I got a stress fracture on my foot from running
  • I am still studying everything I can get my hands on about health.
  • I really want to write a post about women having self worth.  I had that problem-very bad- until a couple of years ago and then I finally figured it out.  It's simple.  So note to self: write a post on how I came to realize my self worth.
I'll see you in another couple of months when I get back on the Internet.

I'm so excited that your house is in the works! How LARGE is LARGE? I think space can be a good thing, if you fill it with the proper things and leave some space empty too.

You can change your mind. That doesn't mean you're a hypocrite....it just means you changed your mind.

I hope your foot heals quickly.

Wahoo! How exciting that your house has been started! What a wonderful gift. (And I agree with your family-- 7-hundred-something square feet IS too small! ;-D)

I'm so excited for you! And I am glad to know that your life is good and busy. Your priorities are in the right place. :-)

Hugs,
Rachel

Congrats on your new house. We were excited to get our (then) family of 6 out of our 800 sq ft trailer into more space too so I know how you feel. Glad to see you are still around - same here. Still thinking about lots of things but rarely posting. I'll look forward to the self-worth post. :)

I too look forward to the post on self worth and have the same problem with getting actual posts onto my blogs. Ah life.

Life gets busy and blogging is not a top priority. I can relate. It is nice to hear how you all are though. Congrats on the new transition, hoping it all goes well and fast!

I am anticipating your self worth posts, have a great day!

Please see my post on your family blog site. Brace yourself. I just found out you came to Hawaii...but wait...what's that? The sound of my phone not ringing? The sound of you not calling me to tell you'll be over for a visit? Hello? Hello?

Exciting times! It's fun to come back around and see your blog again. It had been a while... Too long, too long.

Next time you go to Hawaii, though, you really MUST stop by and see us! Or if the thought of staying with us is weird, then at *least* come visit and let us get you into the Poly Cultural Center for cheap. Did you have a nice trip, though? ;)
